Michel Teló became the victim of a bad taste joke on Twitter. The singer, who started a media campaign to advertise his new song “Te dar um beijo” (Give you a kiss), was the target of internet users who created profiles with offensive names to attack the singer.

For the campaign, the internet user adds the name of their profile to a hashtag with the title of the song. Upon publishing, a banner is created which has a photo of the singer sending a kiss to the user. So, phrases were created such as “Um beijo para você, chupaTeloo” (A kiss for you, screwyouTeloo) among other more offensive insults.
